Hi Sebastien, in our case there is no ./ for dbdata because we are using docker-compose to create a volume, then mounting it to the db container. We specified for the volume creation in the docker-compose.yml here:

volumes:
dbdata:

if you do a docker volume ls you should find the volume that was created when you did a docker compose up

If you add a ./ for dbdata, you will be mounting your local directory folder ./dbdata to the container instead. That depends on what you prefer, for docker to create the volume or you creating the directory yourself and then mounting the folder to the container instead.
