  1. For just muting it either via display or button press would be fine.
  2. However if we can "snooze" it for period of time just as in xdrip:

a) BG <> low/high treshold
b) Vibrating/Alarm starts
c) Mute for X amount of minutes/hours
d) When snooze timer expires, check current BG, if > low treshold = reset, if still low/high anove/below treshold activate alarm again.

So if it will be something like option 2, display popups and time selector must(?) be used. Unless preset would exist for physical buttons (press = snooze 30 min or something)

Hey! this is something I plan to add in my next release. What are you thinking for the alarm types? maybe 3 different levels:

  • 1st where it just vibrates 3 times with a 5 min reminder till silence from user
  • 2 vibrates 5 times at a stronger vibration with a 5 min reminder till silence from user
  • 3 vibrates off and on consistently till silence from user

I like the latter option. For v1 based on your feedback my plan is to have 2 buttons. One that stops the vibration for 15 mins and the other which stops it till next pull. Thanks for the feedback :)

@Rytiggy I will try at as soon as possible. Fitbit seems to have some serious issues with their servers and syncing for past 20 hours, so nothing seems to work at the moment (sync, watchface updates etc). As soon as they get their things up, I'll try it and let you know.

So, finally I was able to update to 1.1.3
First observation is positive, graph scale with mmol now shows correct values.
No unwanted alarms yet either :)

If an issue pops up I will let you know
Thanks

@wardc99 @zshh How would you guys like to silence the low alert vibration? I am thinking a popup that says your BG and a current trend that has a silence and remind me button. thoughts?

The first draft of vibration feature is done, Not ready to release but if you guys are able to test for me I would be happy to make the code available. But currently, if your BG goes below the high and low threshold the watch starts vibrating. You can silence the alert by clicking on the alert message till the next pull.

Things to add still:
Another button to be able to silence the vibration for a set time period
Clean up UI

Ryan, I guess same issue for vibrations/alarm as in the other issue in regards to the color of the BG font.
It seems hintunits is mgdl for that one as well as it is vibrating like hell on, at the moment, 5.9 mmol (limits 9 and 4 high/low) :)

@Lien64 Glance should not have any effect on other applications running on the fitbit watch.

It looks like the images you sent did not come through if you could try to share them again maybe I could help you further :)
