At the moment, the scope is AVAudioSession on Apple and AudioManager on Android. I would probably not consider anything outside of this cope for the time being.
Android has a few different kinds of "sessions":
- You can request audio focus via the audio manager
- You can become the active media session
- You can also create a cast session
But these are not all the same thing and need not be in the same package. So for now I'd like to stick to the scope above.
