I actually don't mind typing rails s
or rails c
. But another option is to alias the rails
command to r
then it would be r s
, r c
etc. I would like to figure out what convention other people are using for this and follow that.
Also to do bundle install
you can just type bundle
. I don't often perform the other bundle commands so for me it's not worth making aliases on those.

, because I already use it to go to my rails folder, as you do with code folder. But the idea is great.

Can't help but noticing that bc is an alias for both "bundle check" and "bundle console" :)
Anyway, I do agree with ryanb. The rails 3 command line is much nicer than in previous versions. "rails s" et al. feels very natural I think. Same for the bundle command line.
