You need to learn how to develop the source code. Remove the old egg and do something like:

$ git clone git://github.com/rwl/PYPOWER.git
$ cd PYPOWER
$ python setup.py develop

or just add the PYPOWER directory to your PYTHONPATH.

Then when changes are available on GitHub you can just do:

$ git pull origin master

from pypower.
