I was not exactly trying to mimic hyper / hyper-tls examples as this ticket implies, but I think that as far as we have working examples for a server <-> client roundtrip that may be already enough.

However, those example are not exactly idiomatic or beginner-friendly. I guess a good simple exercise would be to refactor them to:

  • avoid using unwrap()/expect()
  • split into a main() and run_client()/run_server(), with the latter ones doing proper error bubbling back to main
  • add some step-by-step comment, at least for the client
  • make all imports/uses consistent
  • do a final clippy + rustfmt pass on the result

I don't have time for this right now, but I am available for reviewing.

I think they’re in sync right now. Are we satisfied?

Some final cleanups are in #49, after those I'm personally fine.
