The guidelines aren't specific on this point about launched content providing an 'endpoint', so I read them as accepting either. But as the library is currently written it needs to be an absolute URL. I'd accept PRs for the launch string handling that would correct them, but don't have it on the docket to do it myself as I expect most content to need a full URL (for cross domain, etc.) and usually it is easy to provide.
