This problem should be fixed in 2.9.1 which will be release in the next few days.

It has not been fixed in 2.9.1:
gems/facets-2.9.1/lib/core/facets/module/redefine_method.rb:29:in undef_method': undefined methodpurchases' for class `User' (NameError)
It works well without facets.
