My system appears to be using kramdown 0.14.2. Try upgrading kramdown and see if that resolves the problem.

Jekyll 0.12.0 requires kramdown (~> 0.13.4) "pessimistically", so it does not accept version 0.14 or above... ?!

wtf jekyll. It appears I'm still running jekyll 0.11.2 which requires kramdown ~> 0.13.

Good hint. I manually edited the corresponding file in my local Jekyll version and relaxed the dependencies, now the build of the site works fine (with Jekyll 0.12.0 and kramdown 0.14.2).

Just generated the site with Jekyll 0.12.1 (from February 19) under Ruby 2.0.0 without any problems.
