The demo project does not have this issue. I must have done something wrong...

I can't reproduce here with demo project either; I'm seeing 1 persistent RSColorPickerState when testing with iPhone 6S Plus simulator, and leaks doesn't find anything. If you can recreate it and upload a simplified project file I may be able to take a look.

Really strange. I reproduced the issue this morning and started to compare how I used the RSColorPickerView class with what's in the demo project.
The only difference I found was that I declared the delegate interface (and the header import) in the .mm file rather than the header.
Then I made the change to mimic the demo project, rebuild, profile and there was only 1 persistent copy in memory.
I committed the code. Checked out the previous commit and rebuild to see if this was really the cause. Sadly the bug was magically gone even in that commit.
The bug never showed up today during my development. I would just close this issue for now.
