Tested the flow of direct researcher invitation with affiliation as 'student' and 'staff', the ORCID profile of the researcher is updated with both employment and education records.
Not able to reproduce the bug, the issue could be reopen if similar issue encountered in future.

The function is there, but there is an issue with handling the conformation of the invitation. The affiliation record doesn't get created on the profile of the user (GH-217).

A simple API to send a mail to researcher should be written.
Furthermore, Authorization endpoint ("https://sandbox.orcid.org/oauth/authorize") and Token endpoints(""https://sandbox.orcid.org/oauth/token"") are needed to establish affiliation between Researcher and Research organisation
