Dumb question but ... what is coding sprint?
from rootpy.
I would interpret is as an intense session to get planned stuff implemented.
Usually done to get a project jump-started or to get features done before a code-freeze.

It's a way to actually get something done because you work the whole day on one project (as opposed to an hour here and there between other work stuff). It's also more fun to code in a group than to do it alone all day. For me it's a way to learn more about how rootpy works from Noel and to implement some of the features I need, like issue #24 .

I just read now the email sorry,
Anyway this period is pretty busy for me. But I would be anyway interested in the discussion and especially in the talk, would it be possible to set up a webcast (EVO, Vydio, whatever) to attend the talk?
Thanks.

You have contributed to rootpy via pull requests or issue reports, so we wanted to let you know that we are doing a coding sprint on rootpy:

(Sorry, I didn't know how else to contact you, since not all github users have a public email address. Please sign up for the rootpy-users or rootpy-dev google group.)

I don't think we have technology to webcast the talk in that room, but I'll check tomorrow and let you know.
from rootpy.
I'd vote for a google hangout at some point if others can stomach it.

Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning would work well for @ndawe and me.
Would that work for everyone?
Could everyone interested please sign up for the rootpy-dev mailing list so that we can easily contact each other and discuss in the future?

We won't record the talk or tutorial on Wednesday.
We do plan to create some screencasts and put them on youtube with links from rootpy.org on Thursday though.
