Maintaining compatibility with xclim about clisops HOT 3 OPEN

Hi @Zeitsperre , I am going to organise a meeting with @huard, yourself and people my end so that we can talk about various issues relating to our collaboration. Apologies that things may have appeared erratic our end. I thought you would be concerned mainly with the releases but that was naive of me. Let's meet and talk about all these issues so that we can improve our practices and make sure we are aligning our approaches.

Hi @agstephens Thanks for checking in with me yesterday and today. I meant to respond but yes, xclim was (and still is to a degree) under very active development, but we didn't have to worry too much about API and userbase until much later. I am indeed curious to see where this is going and don't want to seem in the way. If we can synchronize on a handful of dev practices, it would be make development simpler on our side.

Hi @Zeitsperre, I'm very happy for us to improve our procedures this end. You will be doing us a favour by applying some gentle pressure on that front, and I expect we'll learn new things that will make us more efficient in future :-)
