Hi everyone

This is the place where I store my coding explorations and attempt to disrupt the status quo!

πŸ” I’m currently working as a SWE and also working on hosting Midium for Developers and Mortgage Specialists
🌱 Recently, I have been fine tuning the AI prompts for a clone/blog generator called "Midium" as a parody to Medium
πŸ’‘ I have been looking for some good use cases for python in financial data analysis πŸ’¬ Ask me about Javascript/Typescript or React/Express/Node
πŸ“« How to reach me: Through my links below :meat_on_bone: Fun fact: I love slow cooked smoked BBQ and helping other professionals to start coding!

Code is like humor. When you have to explain it, it’s bad. – Cory House

About Me

I am a full stack developer with work experience. I also bring with me years working in finance, where I became a CFA Charterholder, and managing a restaurant through the pandemic

My Coding

  • I enjoy collaboration and am constantly taking part in collaborative projects with diverse developers around the world.
  • I try to do something new every week, whether it be making a video sharing app or a random trivia app.
  • I enjoy meeting coders in person, see you at the next gathering!
  • I am looking to contribute to opensource repos, currently browsing through the apps I use the most.
  • In interviews, I love to get to know what companies are doing and how they are planning to tackle their problems.
  • I love to people with their problems, though oddly I find discord and slack more convenient to use than stack overflow (starting to make my mark).
My Skills

Recent Projects

Python-Finance

Python, pandas, streamlit

Purely Python stock predictor using Pandas and Prophet. With a GUI of streamlit for easy control of the variables. This app is in progress as tuning an AI script to get what you want and adding functionality that finacial individuals ask for is constantly incoming.

Midium, Wannabe Medium

React, React Query, Flask, Postgresql GPT-3 (text-davinci-003)

I have seen many posts on LinkedIn for aspiring developers and noticed most of these blogs reads the same. Midium handles this mechanical work for you, so you don't have to mindlessly churn out blog posts. Powered by the new and highly verbose (as well as expensive) "text-davinci-003" from GTP-3 it is now possible to just make posts on a button click.

Crumbs

React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Mapbox, Yelp, Youtube, Styled-Components, MUI, Sass

This full stack app allows influencers to link their content to specific businesses on a map so that users can easily find interesting experiences close to them

Typescript GraphQL Starter

React, Node.js, Express, Apollo, GraphQL, TypeORM

A modern functional Apollo GraphQL server that serves as a beginner friendly boilerplate with full Typesafe CRUD functionality by leveraging TypeORM.

Band Profile Site

HTML, Sass

A simple Front End created from Figma designs showcasing responsiveness, animations, and other styling without use of a styling library
