The search in the OPAC is pitch-based search (ABCD...). Input via the keyboard features octave distinction but this is ignored in the search.
What we could imagine having has facet is something similar to what is available in the drop-down list in the advanced search. Namely
- Beginning only with transposition
- Beginning only without transposition
- Anywhere with transposition
- Anywhere without transposition
(Alternatively these could be two distinct facets)

The 'everything' tab is gone, and incipits now appear (although there's nothing to show). I'll close this, and we can open specific feature requests for incipit search. I will break the list given into a separate issue.
