I never have had the need for this, but the question is pretty simple. Do you think you will benefit from this if you create it? And by doing so and creating a PR for this do you think other people might use it? If you have yes and yes on both questions then if you have the time then you can always do it. As in most cases i presume its optional so it does not have an impact on others it would be no issues either.
