I'm using .NET 5 now and it's working again for me. Maybe the original issue was specific to .NET Core 3.1?

@RicoSuter Is this still a known issue? I have been trying to use the switcher on a .net core project and have run into some issues.
I thought I would just clarify is this is an open issue still or not?

I have updated the tools to the latest version and my problems have now gone away.
dotnet tool update -g dnt

last time, I tried to uninstall it and reinstall, it worked.
