I don't personally need donations right now; I make enough from the day job. I only wish I had more time to put in. Ricochet needs more contribution and more people - get in touch with me if you've got time or ideas for helping out.

I already contribute financially to The Tor Project. As for Ricochet, you could save whatever donations come in into a "commit fund" and donate 10% of it to any commit author whenever they have one accepted into the main repository, sort of like what Moxie did for TextSecure, but not exclusive to BTC:
