Certainly, yes. The repo is here: https://github.com/apereo/cas using its main/master branch. I am not quite certain if this is an issue with the action or with the renovate core engine itself. A similar issue was reported here renovatebot/renovate#5784 while running renovate CLI using Travis CI. This also might be relevant: renovatebot/renovate#4467

I know this might be more of a bandaid solution, but could the plugin be configured in a way to "up the heap"? configuration parameter, environment variable, etc?

This sounds like it's a duplicate if both are about Gradle deps, so we may be better off closing this and having a single conversation in the other issue?

I think this is resolved by using the gradle-lite manager via :switchToGradleLite preset.
