OK, this code was added which should do this:
for file in os.listdir(os.path.join(expected_base, bm, root)):
if file not in files:
print(f"Expected test file {file} not generated by the builder")
assert False
and what it found was that a bunch of tests that were passing before started to fail. This is presumably because they were not being tested before.
So this issue becomes one of uncommenting this code, but then fixing all the tests that subsequently fail.....
