(Sure I've answered this question elsewhere, but can't find for the life of me)

What do you mean by "configuration"?

Different answer if you are talking about the HTML/ JavaScript or the configuration you pass to the background service.

If the latter, then you need to persist the configuration (SharedPreferences or database for example).

If the former, the HTML/ JavaScript has no state (once it closes) so es you'd need to set up again.

If you can be more specific in your question I can probably provide a better answer
