Hi, I'm Ravi Kumawat from Jaipur, Rajasthan. I'm pursuing my 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Data Science and Applications at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras).

Professional Experience

Currently, I'm a Research Intern at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Ropar. Here, I focus on Deep Learning Applications in Computer Vision, Medical imaging.

Extracurricular Activities

At IIT Madras, I contribute to student welfare and extracurricular activities as an active member of the Sundarbans House Council and Head of the Sundarbans WebOps Team. Additionally, I serve as a Project Mentor and Teaching Assistant for Modern Application Development I & II Project Courses.

Entrepreneurship

I co-founded Decarbz, a Carbon Credits Platform, with my college friend Aditya. Our startup was recognized among the top 5 winning teams at the KHOJ Startup Yatra. Registered with istart Rajasthan, we received incubation support at Bhamashah Techno Hub, Jaipur. This venture has equipped me with a deep understanding of the carbon credits market, legal procedures, and taxation for startups.

Technical Skills

Cloud Technologies: Azure (certified AZ900), GCP, and AWS
DevOps: Deployed projects on EC2 instances, proficient in Git and GitHub for CI/CD
Web Development: Proficient in various web technologies and frameworks
Additional Skills: Video editing, graphic designing, UI/UX design, blockchain, company registration, sustainability audits, and carbon credits

I have presented a paper on Big Data Analytics at Rajasthan DigiFest organized by the Government of Rajasthan.
