Hey @lktslionel , thanks for opening this feature request.
I'm not sure adding the cache param in the decorator is a good approach. I'd like any lambda handler code to be the same in prod and testing alike.
Maybe we can use an environment variable to disable the usage of cache?
That way your pytest code will set it to disable the cache and your handler code remains unchanged.
