Receiver crashes while taping the "Get started" button in the "Welcom" tab or switching to the "QR code" tab about macos-receiver HOT 3 CLOSED

Very detailed bug report. Thank you. Allows me to debug quickly.

So the reason your app is crashing is pretty strange. The app is trying to get the "encryption key" from your Keychain, while it does not exist yet. This should not be possible, not sure why it's happening.

Can you see if the following steps resolve the issue?

• Uninstall Raivo for MacOS
• Open "Keychain Access" app on MacOS
• Delete the two entries as seen in the screenshot below (search for "DecryptionPassword").
• Install Raivo for MacOS again from the AppStore

Removing the key from the keychain resolved the issue. Thanks for your quick reply.

Btw, I noticed that the second "settings" key is missing from my system. Can this be the cause of the problem?

Really interesting use case. Apparently the "Password is present" variable was true. But no password was set. According to the code this should not be possible (https://github.com/raivo-otp/macos-receiver/blob/master/Raivo%20MacOS/Helpers/StorageHelper.swift#L72).

Could it be that you (by accident) deleted one of the keys in your keychain? Anyhow, I'll take a look at it later. Nice that it works now!
