Just to clarify, you get this issue when you select the Bootstrap (Less) option? Have you tried with the Bootstrap (Sass) option? I prefer the Sass version and haven't seen the Heroku failure with it.

Yes, it is Bootstrap (Less). I have not tried the Bootstrap (Sass) version. I have since gotten Heroku to work just fine - once I moved it out of the asset group. So I am good.
I just thought it would be something to consider for other users that might prefer the Less version.
