thanks for letting me know. This problem could be related to #81.
I haven't tried ClassicAra in combination with Chessbase yet, but I heard it should work with Arena and I can confirm that it runs also on CuteChess.
Another thing I wanted to ask was this - does Classic Ara support the Multi-PV functionality? Does it not lose strength with it like Leela and Komodo MCTS?
Yes, MultiPV is available for ClassicAra.
It can be enable e.g. via:
setoption name MultiPV value 5
I have not yet run any tournaments on how MultiPV affects playing strength.
On my machine, the number of nodes per second decreases by 1 - 2% when Multi-PV of 5 is active.

It could be that this issue is also resolved now thanks to #167.

I have the same issue with version 0.9.9. This happens if I move quickly back and forth between the moves of a game.
