Hello!

thank you very much for your interest in these projects and the answers to your questions:

  1. The idea is good, you can limit it to what you consider as long as it is an educational resource.

  2. In case you start earlier, your tutorial will be considered only for the t-shirt and not for the $100.

  3. The first user or team that completes a tutorial and has the required characteristics will get their t-shirt and $100, the other teams only the t-shirt.

We look forward to seeing your work in the unitaryhack period and in case you consider working in a team or looking for our discord you can use it https://discord.gg/NDm9e9W

Hi,

I was interested in working on idea #2 using Quantum SWAP Test and Quantum-KNNs. Covers quite a lot and presents a quantum analog to a classical machine learning algorithm. Will that be workable?

Is there a package requirement? I see most of the previous work was done in qiskit

Hi @maxwell04-wq ! Yes that is a great proposal

Sure, that's good with me.

Sure, for the photo you can use my github profile photo (let me know if that doesn't work). And for social media you can share my twitter: https://twitter.com/wnlckwd.

Hi @maxwell04-wq That's a good idea, although this issue has already been won, you can participate in this one #20, you won't get the bounty, but you can get the contribution for the untiaryhack certificate and a t-shirt from Quantum Universal Education.

Hello!
I was interested in taking up the first idea, I am familiar with Hamiltonian Simulation methods, particularly Trotterization as I have worked with it before. I went through a few posts on the website and I had a few queries about the requirements.

  1. For the idea of simulating electronic structures, are you looking for a general simulation, or can I for the purpose of educating limit myself to a simple model?
  2. Although you have mentioned the team size to be 2-5 members, is it okay if I start early(25th May) and do it alone?
  3. I am pretty sure that people will be interested in taking up one of the other 4 ideas, so is it okay if someone else takes part with a different idea & still get valid participation in Unitary Hack?

I'll start working on the post once I am clear about the requirements, Thanks :D

Hi @lockwo good question the short answer is No, you can use the framework that you feel more confident

Hi @lockwo and @Zshan0 😃

Thank you both so much, your work is amazing and most surprisingly touching the same topic, we liked both, and it's hard to choose, and we are thinking if you can share the bounty, i.e. $50 for each one, you are amazing and enriching to use two different frameworks. 🎊

Thanks for your quick response @Zshan0 , let's wait for the response from @lockwo , but very good work from both of you, it shows that this part of chemistry is very important.

To recognize your work @lockwo and @Zshan0, if is possible, could you pass us a photo, your details and/or social networks to add to your tutorial ?

I hope you can share this solved issue on your social networks, so they can see your work and on the unitaryfund share-your-hack channel .

I hope you will continue to support this amazing event and Quantum Universal Education 🙌 .

@MaldoAlberto can I contribute a tutorial on quantum adder? Much like a unit block used in classic addition, the quantum full-adder block can be used to create an n-qubit adder.
