I haven't done sufficient testing, maybe you can create a issue to pyodide
from pyscript.
I'm not super sure if I understand the question, so feel free to re-open the issue in case you need it.
But PyScript is bidirectional! If you're interested in discussing performance we can have a separate issue for that.
