Can you try re-installing it, and report the install output? You might as well install the master branch version:

pip install -U git+git://github.com/pymc-devs/pymc.git

@fonnesbeck I'm also having this issue. I pulled 2.3.5 from conda and also the latest master as described above.

It turns out you need to have matplotlib installed in the environment for Matplot to work. It wasn't obvious until I was looking at the list of packages above.
