We have given both 32-bit and 64-bit python's in the following way.
3.7.3 - is a 32-bit
3.7.3-amd64 - is a 64-bit
pyenv install -l shows both the options. Link

The tool downloads the 32-bit versions of python. I guess that's what he is referring to.

what do you mean ? pyenv-win in independent tool it's not bounded with 32bit or 64bit it's written in batch and vb scripts. Can you describe your scenario ?

Re-opening to keep in track of changing default python installation to 64bit.

Nevermind - I got an error which is said to be a result of using 32-bit Python, but struct.calcsize("P") (per description here) gives 8, so I guess it was a 64-bit Python.
(Although a more definite way to check whether I have 32- or 64-bit installation would be appreciated.)

A new release is done. Please go ahead with latest version, and let me know the status.
We have 2 trains:
- Backward compatible train. ie. 2.32.x
- New Train ie. 2.64.x
All the feature are supported in both the trains, for more info README.md
