Fixed in r39 . In r44 has been added the attached benchmark (based on a suggestion
from Andrew Collette, thanks!). With the new benchmark, we have:
{{{
1000000 f8 (average of 10 runs)
Simple: 0.029298210144
Numexpr: 0.00948629379272
Chunked: 0.0283204078674
(10000, 100) f8 (average of 10 runs)
Simple: 0.0263402938843
Numexpr: 0.00855798721313
Chunked: 0.035804104805
(100, 100, 100) f8 (average of 10 runs)
Simple: 0.0260948181152
Numexpr: 0.00851230621338
Chunked: 0.0360121011734
}}}
so, we are getting the expected results.
Status: Verified
