Oh, I forgot to say that disabling / enabling the extension, or uninstalling / installing didn't fixed my problem... Maybe there is a quick trick to remove what is stored by the extension somewhere ?

A week ago, I ran into the same problem: all groups disappeared from panorama view. Uninstalling / re-installing (+ re-starting Firefox 66) didn't fix it! Obviously the internal list of tabs and groups was not removed from the profile upon uninstalling. In sheer despair I hit the shortcut key Alt+W (Activate Next Tab Group) multiple times. This worked, but the view function still didn't. When I double-clicked at the empty display area I got an unexpected message, that 1 tab might be closed - yes/no. I chose yes - and was back in business again!

I'm not sure what had caused the problem - I remember that I'd dragged a tab from a group to the free area to create a new group. By some awkward movement this new group ended up almost covering an existing group. I could no longer move these groups (apart). Maybe I did some wild mouse-clicking - anyway, the group display area went blank.

Two days later, on my other PC I ran into this problem again: In panorama view I created a new group and an empty new tab in it, then switched to it. After that I picked a bookmark folder from the Bookmarks Menu and selected Open All in Tabs from the context menu. The tabs were properly loaded. But when I pressed the Panorama toolbar button I got an empty group display area! And was stuck with it! But cycling through the groups with Alt+W worked fine. The group I'd just added still contained all tabs. I deleted all displayed tabs manually (from the browser's tab toolbar) one after the other. Panorama view was back to normal again! (Of course, the closed tabs were gone for good.)

Further testing showed, that if the first tab is not empty, the error does not occur!
(Most probably RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol?) is not the cause of the problem; I don't use it.)

Happy recovery!
And I second your request for a reset option!

Hello,
Thanks for all those details @strawbeard, very interesting !
I had never created a new group by dragging an existing tab... Since some weeks the problem didn't occurs...
And yes, RDP = Remote Desktop Protocol.

Probably won't have time to get to today but we'll basically have to loop through every tab and window and delete every value set by the addon I believe since the sessions API doesn't allow us to clear custom values (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/API/sessions).
