Using cart_id is a little confusing for the shop admin. If we use cart_id BlueSnap payment statement will show cart id as order reference. And shop admin operates with order ids.

Hi Luge,

The fact is you can use the validateOrder() method only once the payment has been processed on your side For some reasons you cannot create the order before the customer has been redirected to the shop.

What Thomas is asking you is to process everything on your side using the cart. You system certainly generates a reference for the order. It can be linked to the order in the details your system send back to the shop.

Shop admin will never see these details, it is in the code, not in the interface. The main issue with validating a cart before the customer tries to pay is that you could have your orders generated before the customer has been redirected. If the customer stop the process he will have his cart empty due to the validation, he will have to create a new cart and the merchant will not understand why so many orders have been canceled or are waiting for a payment acceptation.

Feel free to ask us if you have others questions.

Thank you Luge,
Regards.

The order is now created before the customer is sent to the BlueSnap interface.

We can close this issue.
