problem in latex file about tagbar HOT 4 CLOSED

The bug should be fixed now. The fact that the window was empty is most likely due to the fact that the current ctags LaTeX parser isn't terribly advanced. I recommend using the alternative configuration that is used as an example in the Tagbar documentation (under :h tagbar-extend).

Thanks, this fixes it, and thanks for the suggestion on how to have tags for latex, they work good now.

When comparing what taglist and tagbar would give for latex I tried accidentally to open tagbar while on the taglist buffer and I had the error bellow:

On second second maybe you should consider reopening the issue since this also happens in a empty buffer.

Right, I forgot about the case where the window gets closed before a valid file was seen and thus the current file was unset. It should be fixed now, thanks for reporting!
