zsh: warning about `shift` about chgems HOT 3 CLOSED

...its harmless and things still work as advertised after. It's because you're calling shift when there are no parameters to shift out:

    local root=$1 && shift
    local command=$@

Using 2>/dev/null works just fine.

-   local root=$1 && shift
+   local root=$1 && shift 2>/dev/null
    local command=$@
