Regular password auth does not work with Gmail, you can read about other options here: https://docs.emailengine.app/emailengine-and-gmail/

With port 993 you must use secure:true to enable TLS on connection start. For SMTP use secure:true for port 465. Other ports use STARTTLS and thus secure must be false.
