Hi Joe,
currently this has only been tested as a migration tool for users moving to the cloud. We'll take a look at this functionality and see if it's a straight forward fix.

so a few things, we found a bug in the code when looking at this. we're writing a fix for that, but it won't allow us to move forward with using the subscriber against podaac-drive.
The underlying issue is that Drive uses a different type of authentication than the cloud endpoints. Managing this is straight forward for a single DAAC, but a goal of this software was to be usable by other cloud DAACs. We will fix the bug, but do not plan on make the subscriber work for the on-prem systems currently, as those end points will be going away in the next calendar year (Currently June, 2022).
