UPDATE: I was able to narrow this down a little further. My frontViewController now has an iPad sized NIB wired up correctly and the correct frame size, by default. Unfortunately when viewDidLoad is called on ZUUIRevealController the UIBezierPath is still created with an iPhone sized 320/548 frame, even when this frontViewController is set in the init method.

The code I have in viewDidLoad creates a UIBezierPath with bezierPathWithRect and passes in self.frontView.bounds. Directly after this UIBezierPath is created _addRearViewControllerToHierarchy and _addFrontViewControllerToHierarchy are called and to that method is passed the rear and front view controllers respectively. Shouldn't that be called before the UIBezierPath is created?

The front view controller has the correct bounds size, but the self.frontView.bounds property is still inaccurate and is causing the shadow problem I've described above. I'm still pretty new to iOS and that is probably why I can't figure out why self.frontView.bounds doesn't get adjusted property and thus the shadow extends the length of the screen.

Thanks for any help with this.
