It sounds like you didn't finish setting up ART.

Angular is doing GET requests to files somewhere in the assets directory, ART is intercepting those requests and transforming the HTML into a javascript blob. Angular is sticking a javascript blob where you are expecting HTML to be.

If you require angular-rails-templates and your templates, you make your angular module depend on 'templates', and you have the correct templateUrls in your directives, etc then angular won't make GET requests to the javascript-packed template files.

I'm getting the same problem. In my case, I have a lot of templates, and I don't necessarily want to pre-package all of them in my javascript bundle. I'd like to selectively include common templates in the bundle. It seems this gem precludes me from making any GET requests for templates... is that true?
