Remove config/initializers/angular_assets.rb.

HAML is supported out of the box. HAML/Slim set a "html" mime-type on their Tilt::Template classes, sprockets sees that it rendered "html" from haml, so it stops processing before the ART "html" engine is run. The gem takes care of this, but your initializer overrides ART's setup.

Was the README misleading, or was your initializer just from a previous setup?

Hmmm, not sure where I got that from (definitely NOT from the readme). Was possibly from an earlier attempt to get angular, rails and haml to play nicely. This was likely before I started with angular-rails-templates.

Removing that file fixed my problem! Thank you so much for the quick response!
