Markdown rendering - footnotes extension about gostatic HOT 2 CLOSED

Yeah, of course I would accept pull request for that, not sure why it was
not enabled. And yes, there's no way to configure this, I figured it was
not worth the hassle.

have blackfriday.EXTENSION_FOOTNOTES enabled, and there doesn't seem to

• Would you accept a pull request that enabled EXTENSION_FOOTNOTES by
  default? As I understand, it's an additive feature and won't break any
  existing rendering.
• If not, is there an easy way for me to override/enable this from a
  config, without patching the gostatic source code?
