This may be done with PlantUML, Kilian and I will be looking into this

I have created a UML-diagram with ArgoUML. This is not very nice, as it turns out, since you draw it. So I need to have a better look into sphinx

It is somewhat working now, but the class structure is not really doing what one might expect. I tried different tools (snakefood, PyNSource) but they are all dependent on Python 2.7 and will not work with python 3. Writing a tool that creates the UML diagrams itself might be a challenge which I'm not willing to commit to...

Maybe we need to implement a flag to turn off the uml diagram creation, so one may do make html without having to have graphviz and pylint.

After the paper is published we should use Johannes' and Till's Figure instead of creating one automatically.
