This may actually be an error.
I tried running it detached (npm start detached) with the following error:
(node:18738) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: Error: connect ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:9090 at TCPConnectWrap.afterConnect [as oncomplete] (net.js:1088:14) (node:18738) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: Unhandled promise rejection. This error originated either by throwing inside of an async function without a catch block, or by rejecting a promise which was not handled with .catch(). (rejection id: 1) (node:18738) [DEP0018] DeprecationWarning: Unhandled promise rejections are deprecated. In the future, promise rejections that are not handled will terminate the Node.js process with a non-zero exit code.

I have figured out the problem. VLC must be closed at the time the script was run so that the script can open VLC. I think some clarification may help in the readme. Thank you.
