It definitely works with the types
property. The GitHub documentation is incomplete. My guess is that it was a deliberate choice to leave that out of the documentation to start with because it's the only event where the types are not "hard coded." The type depends on the user specified event_type
when the dispatch is created via API.
Your condition will likely also work, but if you don't specify the type in the on: repository_dispatch
definition then your workflow will of course run for every repository_dispatch
event regardless of type.
