Add to homebrew? about tugboat HOT 8 CLOSED

Totally, I'll look into how to get a gem in there, never done that before. If you have, would appreciate suggestions!

I played around with this a bit. It looks like things will fail because bundler isn't installed (and gem_tasks like rake:install come from bundler). I'm looking to see if we can download the .gem directly from the mirror and just move files into place.

Hm, interesting. It looks like hub does the rake install – does that simply not work without bundler? Either way, if it makes it easier, works for me!

@pearkes you (and most gem peeps) are using bundler's gem_tasks. Hub is not - their rake task is somewhat complex.

@sethvargo Huh. Do you think it's worth adopting that for this reason? I don't know.

@pearkes I'm okay closing this issue. It would have been nice to say "brew install tugboat", but "gem install tugboat" is actually one less character 😄
