Slack provider callback shows a Third-Party Login failure about django-allauth HOT 4 CLOSED

The Same is happening with using GitHub OAuth. The callback url i am getting is (with no error msg):

http://localhost:8000/accounts/github/login/callback/?code=1216195be45faf4d04af&state=jYUTOFAXVKeiqzpk

I do not know what code and state in uri is referring to.

I'm using version 0.61.1

EDIT: Downgrading to 0.54.0 and removing allauth.account.middleware.AccountMiddleware middleware solved the problem. But now I can not use LinkedIn Open ID Connect authentication as it is not supported in version 0.54.0.

Just want to reiterate as well, version 0.54.0 works for me too. However, I went back and tried the same code with 0.61.1, and it worked. I'm quite puzzled, but considering the fact that it seems to work as expected this time around, I'll gladly mark this issue as closed to abide by your request for no support queries.

I have no idea what is going wrong for you, but it's not the case that GitHub does not work with the latest version. For example, it's just running fine over here:

Yeah, no, the issue for me was Slack, but like I said, I also have no idea why it worked a few days later without me touching the code or the app setup, but it definitely doesn't seem related to this framework
