Next time, I will include the ex.err file in the bug report but I do not
keep these kinds of files around normally. How do I discard my changes
in git and download the latest tip
version using git?

I think "git pull" and "git checkout -f" will do the trick, and "git clean -f" to remove any new files you've added.

I can always reproduce this. The failure is text is -1. Make sure you do not put a space after 'foobar'.

I suspect you have a file in your euphoria include directory that can't be opened. I checked in a fix in commit 7372281. Would you please test it and confirm?

I had to do an OS/reinstall and now using the latest git sources I can no longer reproduce this error.... Good. Perhaps it is time you update the archive over on rapideuphoria.com.
