+1 to this. How can I configure rubocop for this plugin, @pderichs?

Adding that functionality should be no big deal at all, but a lot of questions are popping up when this will be a general setting for the plugin.

For example: I am using a project specific .rubocop.yml file for each of my projects which configures the used cops for each project (from my understanding, this replaces the need for the config file parameter - please correct me, if I am wrong here 😉 ). What is about to happen, when there is such a .rubocop.yml file and the additional -c parameter is set? What is the expected behavior of the plugin in that case?

My guess would be when passing a -c parameter it should override the .rubocop.yml when present. Someone probably specified this file for a reason. What do you think?

@yourivdlans I did not question the overall / general usefulness of that parameter in rubocop - I am just speaking in the context of this plugin.

Alright, I added a new setting rubocop_config_file where you can specify a path to a config file. Enjoy!

@pderichs Then I probably didn't get your question. Anyway thanks for adding the setting!
