Thanks for trying aider and filing this issue.
What model exactly are you using? Is it quantized?
It may not be strong enough to work with aider's system prompt.

On my system, I just run ollama run deepseek-coder-v2, which I believe downloads the 16B model. you can see it here

The ollama page shows quantization Q4_0, so I think it's been quantized?

Probably. you are right. so Aider doesn't work with deepseek-coder-v2 through Ollama because it's been quantized. interesting.
