This is almost always just a browser caching issue

You’re correct. I used a different browser and it was fine. Thank you. Should a shorter TTL be on that metadata?

At the server level we do try to properly use caching conventions:

@action(methods=["get"], detail=True)
@method_decorator(
condition(etag_func=metadata_etag, last_modified_func=metadata_last_modified),
)
def metadata(self, request, pk=None):

But it seems between CDNs / reverse proxies, browsers, etc. things dont always work as intended wrt caching

from paperless-ngx.
